All About the National Capital Daylily Club |
The National Capital Daylily Club (NCDC) is a non-profit, educational organization whose purpose is to promote daylilies through education and exhibition. Our activities are centered around the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The NCDC Constitution and By-Laws are available in PDF format (413k).
The NCDC web site provides our members with a convenient source of information about the club and up-to-date information about our events. We warmly welcome daylily enthusiasts of all levels and encourage them to join our activities. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our activities and to donate registered daylily cultivars to our many sales. We also wish to reach
out to the general gardening community in the Washington, D.C. area and
throughout the entire country.
We have a Club Plant Program and Auction. The Club buys expensive,
new daylily introductions. Active members grow them for 2 years and they are usually
auctioned off at the August Plant Sale. Members who grow them get to keep 1 fan.
Members who wish to participate should fill out an application. See our
Home Page
for the NCDC Club Plant Application and Club Plant Rules.
